My name is Leonor and I am 32 years old, well (not so well), almost 33. I am a teacher of Spanish and I love my profession since I do not feel it as a work but as a real plesuare. When I teach I can also learn many things from my students and that is wonderful.
I am passionate of Spanish language sound and the rhythm of its words. The magic of Cervantes´s Language excites me and that is why I became an expert of Spanish language.
Besides my passion by languages and Linguistic science, I like also travelling to know the rests of our history and civilation. The history of humans across world fascinates me. Last summer I went to Segovia (Spain) , where I visited the striking Roman Aqueduct, a real masterpiece in engineering.
I am specially fond of Roman Empire.
At present I live and work in the sunniest town of England. A small paradise situated in the south of the country where I use to visit old castles and bring the history back to me. It is something really fascinating.

I was born in Monaco 53 years ago; my mother was Italian and my father Spanish.
Unfortunately they divorced when I was still a toddler.

My name is Gill, I live in the South of England close to Eastbourne, and have travelled to Spain on holiday for many years. To date, I have been typically British about only speaking English in Spain. I now work for an American company, who have offices across Europe, including one near to Barcelona. My name is Paul Willson, I am 32 and I work in IT. The reason I am learning Spanish is that I am moving to Madrid soon and I need to practice my Spanish. Before I started my Spanish lessons I had a high standard of Spanish but I still needed to improve and have regular practice. My lessons with Leonor covered all areas of Spanish grammer and a lot of vocabulary. The excercises done in the lessons were very helpful with vocabulary as Leonor always asked if there were any words I did not understand. Also because the lessons were all in Spanish I found my speaking and listening improved a lot and my confidence improved. My methodology is based on Direct Method, I use to teach trhough the foreign language, I mean, in Spanish class we will speak Spanish (we won´t use your native language), and in English class we will speak only English.
This is one of the best methods of languages used over the world.
Students will think in the foreign language from the very beginning so the improvement is great after few weeks. By testing level and interests of students we can have more interesting lessons tailored. In fact each person learns in his/her own pace.
With my method, students will speak the foreign language since their first lesson (guaranteed) although they have a basic level or never have spoken or tried the language they want to learn.
One of the most famous advocates of the Direct Method was the German Charles Berlitz, whose schools and Berlitz Method are now world-renowned.
