Today our topic is Top 10 Foods That Will Kill You Faster bacon "bacon" We use bacon specially in hamburgers and also in Brazilian feijoada, which is a stew made of beans and a lot of meat, specially bacon and some kind of sausage, and cured meat. "I bought one kilo of bacon to put on my feijoada." batata frita "potato chips" You can say “batata frita” to potato chips and also to French fries. "I ordered a cheeseburger with potato fries and soda." Yeah, that’s not good for you! bebidas energéticas "energy drinks" Energy drinks are becoming very popular in Brazil. There are so many brands nowadays! One of the most used ingredients are açaí and guaraná. They are both fruits from Amazon. Eu precisei tomar um energético, senão eu ia dormir! "I had to drink an energy drink; otherwise, I would sleep!" carne processada "processed meat" I think processed meat and also frozen food are not good for you. It’s such a magic thing that you put on your microwave, or the oven, and it’s ready! I don’t know, I don’t trust that. But I eat it. Você não deveria comer carne processada. "You shouldn't eat processed meat." comidas congeladas "frozen meals" Yeah, I was just talking about them, right? Those foods are such an easy thing, so convenient. You just put on the microwave, and “pum”, it’s ready. "The other day I was craving a lasagna, so I bought a frozen one." doce "candy" “Doce” means “sweet”, so everything that is sweet is “doce”. For example cake, candies, everything! "There are many sweets at my grandma's house." macarrão instantâneo "instant noodles" Instant noodles are called also “miojo” in Portuguese. And specially kids love “miojo.” "When I was a kid, I always ate instant noodles." margarina "margarine" Brazilians eat a lot of margarine, especially in the morning, because it’s customary to eat bread with margarine, also coffee with milk in the morning. "I ordered bread with margarine at the bakery." pipoca de microondas "microwave popcorn" Microwave popcorn are so convenient! I don’t buy normal corn anymore to do my own popcorn. I’d just buy those “ready” ones, that would be ready like in three minutes! "Let's watch a movie and prepare some microwave popcorn." refrigerante "soda" I think that everyone knows that sodas are not good for your health. But we keep drinking it anyway, right?! "Let's buy soda for tonight's party." O fim, the end! That’s it for today. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed it! And see you in our next video! Tchau tchau!
